Accounting Clerk - Finance Department - NEW Position
Northern Sunrise County is a vibrant and action-oriented municipality that is looking for an Accounting Clerk. This new position is based out of the County’s Administration building located at 135 Sunrise Road in the County.
The Accounting Clerk will assist the Finance Department with the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. They will also be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, financial analysis, and general ledger maintenance. The Accounting Clerk must ensure that all applicable municipal policies and bylaws, provincial and federal legislation are adhered to.
The successful candidate for the Accounting Clerk position will have a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, accounting or finance, with a minimum of two years’ experience in financial accounting, including financial reporting and the creation and consolidation of financial statements. The annual salary for this position starts at $81,674. The County provides attractive benefits and pension programs, as well as an excellent vacation package.
